A nonprofit connecting students to saving lives
One Moment Please...
We are a non-profit organization that connects high school students to nearby pet-parents who needs someone to walk their furry family member. This gives high school students a different approach to helping out in their community, and all profits from contributions of the pet-parents will be allocated to nonprofit no-kill shelters and other organizations that save lives. We believe that nonprofits shouldn't just run off of donations, but should act as businesses and bring in revenue to help their cause.
Owners may post requests for their dogs to be walked, students may view the request and request to message the dog-owner through our on-site messaging platform, and the owner may then choose to accept the student's request to walk their dog at a specified time. A small minimum contribution of $7 per 15-20 minute walk, $10 per 21-30 minute walk, and $12 per 30-40 $16 for 50-60 minute walk is required in order to help the cause, as this nonprofit runs off of services rather than entirely off donations
Begin by creating an account by your parent or guardian. This is a platform that will allow you to get community service hours for walking dogs, in a method that is much more efficient. Rates are 1.5 hours for a 20 minute walk, 2.5 hours for a 30 minute walk, 3 hours for a 40 minute walk
3.5 hour for 50 minutes, 4 for an hour or above.
By participating in this, you will gain skills
such as responsibility, reliability, and commitment, in addition to dog-walking experience.
Instead of booking a conventional dog-walker or dogsitter, you can now contribute to an important mission, funding no-kill shelters, while your dog gets taken care of. Please see about section for pricing, but there is no limit to how much you can contribute. All of the profits go to no-kill shelters dedicated to saving lives.
We ask that you register your identity(the information will not be publicly shared, only the dog-walker of your choice will be able to view it if once you contact them) for the purposes of safety. You may post a request and select whichever of the interested students you believe will be best for your dog. A small minimum contribution of $7 per 15-20 minute walk, $10 per 21-30 minute walk, and $12 per 30-40 $16 for 50-60 minute walk is required in order to help the cause, as this nonprofit runs off of services rather than entirely off donations.
